Liverpool Senior Citizens’ Forum

Age Concern Liverpool under the banner of involving older people facilitates the Liverpool Senior Citizens Forum. Through this Forum, we are in contact with 200 older people’s organisations/clubs and 15,000 older people.

The Liverpool Senior Citizens’ Forum recognises the fact that all older people have a contribution to make. Its active role includes:

• Promoting the concept of involving and consulting older people
• Developing older people’s initiatives in partnership with various agencies
• Ensuring that older people are listened to and responded to
• Acting as a focal point for information affecting the lives of older people
• Ensuring that the Forum is actually led by older people themselves

The Liverpool Senior Citizens Forum also acts as the Older People’s Community Network which is part of the Liverpool Community Network.
