Specialist Residential Care
Age Concern Liverpool has a highly specialised home for older people with a functional mental illness; The Hamlets is a nursing home for twelve residents, in line with our philosophy of privacy, our home blends into its surroundings.
Our aim is to enable older people with mental health problems to lead as independent a life as possible within a homelike atmosphere.
The Hamlets is purpose-built and is part of a multi-purpose housing development in Aigburth. Residents have their own rooms and are encouraged to furnish and decorate them individually.
Our home has 24 hour highly trained staff who provide support and assistance to the residents in their daily living. Residents are encouraged to lead as independent a life as possible and to pursue their own interests outside of the home.

Our home is registered with the Care Quality Commission and consistently receive excellent Inspection Reports. We work in close partnership with Central Primary Care Trust, Liverpool Housing Trust and Mossley Hill Hospital.
